The visual is inspired by my collaboration with Rosetta Lee, Outreach Specialist at Seattle Girls’ School. In the last several months, I’ve appreciated the focus and spotlight on the racism, biases, and long history of structural discrimination against the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) community. And while the spotlight is on the AAPI community at the moment, I’m reminded that it doesn’t take away from other vulnerable communities. Dignity is not a zero sum game. There is an endless supply of dignity pie.
